The Toronto Latvian Hockey Team has quickly become the premier   attraction of the Canadian Latvian sporting world. For the past   three seasons they have played in numorous exhibition games   against fellow local Baltic teams, participated in the popular   Baltic Cup tournament, the ALA North American Championships and   faced off against the Latvian National Standing Amputee team.   In this time the team has raised thousands of dollars for various   local Baltic Charities.   The team meets once a week for regular training and is open to any-   one of Latvian descent. For this season, practices have been moved   to a new home arena:   Chris Tonks Arena   2801 Eglinton Ave (south side, between Black Creek and Keele)   When: Monday evenings 9-10 pm (from Sept. 26, 2011)   Cost: $420 for the full season.
