  December 16th, 2011 As has become tradition, the Toronto Baltic Hockey Teams have once agian come together to not only entertain their loyal fans this holiday season, but also help organizations that do important work in their communities. This years Baltic Hockey Christmas Charity Classic will also up the bar, as there will be not just one, but games held to spread the joy even further. The event takes place this December 16th at the MasterCard Centre (400 Kipling Ave, Etobicoke). The night begins with the Latvian 40+ team taking on the Lithuanians at 7:30, followed by the younder generation taking on the Estonians at 8:30. Entrance to both games is with donations starting at $5.00. There will also be an opportunity to walk away with big prizes in a game day lottery, including hockey tickets and autographed NHL merchandise. All proceeds from the the games will benefit Labdara Nursing Home, The Estonian Foundation of Canada and LSAK.  |
