Monday, December 10, 2012 The Toronto Latvian Hockey Team has quickly become the premier attraction of the Canadian Latvian sporting world. For the past six seasons they have played in numorous exhibition games against fellow local Baltic teams, participated in the popular Baltic Cup tournament, the ALA North American Championships and faced off against the Latvian National Standing Amputee team. In this time the team has raised thousands of dollars for various local Baltic Charities. The team meets once a week for regular training and is open to anyone of Latvian descent. Like last season, practices for the 2012-13 seasonare held at: Chris Tonks Arena 2801 Eglinton Ave (south side, between Black Creek and Keele) When: Monday evenings 9-10 pm (from Oct. 1, 2012) Cost: Platinum Package: Full season, paid upfront $400 Approx 25 sessions and a discounted rate for the post-permit season (about 5-8 sessions). Gold Package: Two installments of $210 ($420). Terms same as platinum package. Silver Package:Three installments (start of season, start of December, start of February) $145X3 ($435). Terms same as above. Pay-as-you Go: First week costs $20. Subsequent weeks cost between $15-20 depending on the number of players. Please make cheques payable to Toronto Latvian Hockey.
